This adorable 6″  Seaweed  basket is made with a  tiny ,  genuine Japanese glass float.   I have used one entire  kelp plant to make this basket. The holdfast end of the plant which attaches to the ocean floor, forms the handle. The flower and basket were cut from the big top part of the plant. The basket is formed around the glass ball, it cannot fall out.
